How much does the program cost?

The program fee is $3,300 USD, payable over 8 months in flexible installments. This covers all training, certification, internship placement, and immigration support. Payment plans are available to make the program accessible.

What are the eligibility requirements?

Applicants must have:

  • A degree or diploma in health sciences, social work, psychology, or related field
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Passion for working with individuals with disabilities
  • Commitment to ethical practice and person-centered care
  • Ability to commit to the full 6-month program
When does the next intake begin?

Our next intake begins in September 2025. Applications are now open and will close when all spots are filled. We recommend applying early as spaces are limited to ensure quality training and personalized support.

Is the work permit really guaranteed?

Yes! Upon successful completion of the training and internship, and matching with a Canadian employer, you are guaranteed a 2-year work permit through Canada’s ethical migration pathways. This is supported by our partnerships with the Canadian High Commission and IOM.

What support do I receive after arriving in Canada?

We provide comprehensive support including pre-departure orientation, airport pickup assistance, help with initial accommodation, workplace orientation, and ongoing mentorship during your first year in Canada. You’ll also join a community of Athari alumni for continued support.

Can I bring my family to Canada?

Yes, after establishing yourself in Canada and meeting certain requirements, you may be eligible to sponsor your family members to join you. We provide guidance on family immigration pathways and can connect you with immigration consultants.
