Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Athari Global Workforce Solutions. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including our training programs, employer matching services, and immigration support. By applying to our program or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Program Eligibility

To be eligible for the Athari Global program, candidates must:

  • Hold a degree or diploma in health sciences, social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Demonstrate strong English language proficiency
  • Show genuine interest in working in the developmental services sector
  • Be able to commit to the full 6-month training program
  • Meet all requirements set by Canadian immigration authorities
  • Pass background checks as required by law

3. Program Fees and Payment

The program fee is $3,300 USD, which covers:

  • 4 months of comprehensive training
  • 2 months of supervised internship placement
  • KISWCD certification
  • Employer matching services
  • Immigration and work permit support
  • Pre-departure orientation

Payment plans are available over 8 months. All fees must be paid in full before work permit application submission. Fees are non-refundable except as outlined in Section 5.

4. Training and Certification

Candidates are required to:

  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and complete all coursework
  • Maintain professional conduct throughout the training period
  • Complete a 2-month internship to the satisfaction of supervisors
  • Pass all required assessments to receive certification

Failure to meet these requirements may result in dismissal from the program without refund.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Candidate Cancellation:

  • Before training begins: 80% refund of fees paid (20% administrative fee)
  • Within first 2 weeks of training: 50% refund of fees paid
  • After 2 weeks of training: No refund

Athari Global Cancellation:

If we are unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund or defer enrollment to the next intake.

6. Work Permit and Immigration

While we provide comprehensive immigration support, we cannot guarantee work permit approval as final decisions rest with Canadian immigration authorities. We commit to:

  • Assist with all documentation and application processes
  • Match qualified candidates with approved Canadian employers
  • Provide guidance through the immigration process
  • Support candidates if additional documentation is required

7. Employer Obligations

Canadian employers partnering with Athari Global agree to:

  • Comply with all Canadian employment and immigration laws
  • Provide fair wages and working conditions as per Canadian standards
  • Support candidates during their initial settlement period
  • Provide accurate information about job requirements

8. Ethical Recruitment

Athari Global is committed to ethical recruitment practices as endorsed by the Canadian High Commission, International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the Government of Kenya. We prohibit any form of exploitation, deception, or coercion in the recruitment process.

9. Limitation of Liability

Athari Global Workforce Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to Athari Global.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided is accurate.

11. Intellectual Property

All training materials, content, and documentation provided by Athari Global are protected by copyright and remain the property of Athari Global Workforce Solutions. Candidates may use materials for personal learning purposes only.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya and Canada, as applicable. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

Athari Global reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
